Powerball Results 22 October 2026: Winning Numbers and Analysis

Powerball's 22 October 2026 draw produced no Division 1 winner, leaving the $10,000,000 jackpot unclaimed. The draw is the latest in a sequence where the top prize has rolled over, meaning the jackpot pool will carry forward to the next scheduled draw. No single entry matched all seven main numbers plus the Powerball number required to claim the top division.

The winning main numbers drawn were 4, 13, 20, 22, 26, 33, and 34, with a Powerball of 13. All seven main numbers were drawn from Powerball's 1 to 35 pool. The Powerball itself is drawn from a separate 1 to 20 pool, and the number 13 appearing in both the main draw and as the Powerball is a statistical coincidence with no bearing on how prizes are determined.

Five entries matched Division 2 (seven main numbers, no Powerball), each returning $75,955. Division 3 attracted 31 winners at $15,152 each, while 568 players collected $721 apiece in Division 4. Division 5 paid $210 to 1,476 winners, and Division 6 distributed $89 across 21,649 entries. The relatively contained Division 3 and 4 fields kept per-winner payouts at meaningful levels.

Only two of the seven winning main numbers, 33 and 34, fell above 31, the threshold above which numbers tend to be under-selected because they lie outside the birthday calendar range of 1 to 31. Five of the seven winners sat squarely within the birthday range, which means players who concentrated their selections in the 1 to 31 zone held a structural advantage in matching numbers this draw. Entries leaning toward the 32 to 35 range would have found fewer matching numbers among the main draw.

Outnumber generates Powerball numbers weighted toward combinations that include higher-frequency picks in the under-selected range above 31, with the aim of reducing the number of other entries likely to share any given division prize. Outnumber makes no claim that this approach increases a player's probability of winning a division, as all number combinations carry equal odds of being drawn.
