- 1Open this site in Safari. It must be Safari, not Chrome or another browser.
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
- 3Scroll down the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- 4Tap "Add" in the top right corner.
The Outnumber icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the app directly.
Safari is required for iOS installation. Chrome and Firefox on iPhone do not support the Add to Home Screen feature for PWAs.
Android

- 1Open this site in Chrome.
- 2Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the browser.
- 3Tap "Add to Home screen". Some Android versions show "Install app" instead.
- 4Tap "Add" to confirm.
The Outnumber icon appears on your home screen alongside your other apps.
If you do not see the install option, make sure you are using Chrome and that you have visited the site at least once before.

- 1Look for the install icon in the address bar. It looks like a computer monitor with a small download arrow.
- 2Click it and select "Install" in the popup that appears.
- 3Alternatively, open the three-dot menu at the top right and click "Install Outnumber".
Edge
- 1Look for the plus icon in the address bar while visiting the site.
- 2Click it to install, or go to the three-dot menu and select "Apps", then "Install this site as an app".
- 3Click Install to confirm.
Outnumber opens in its own window, without a browser address bar, just like a desktop app.
Common questions
Does it use storage space like a normal app?
Very little. The installed app is a lightweight shortcut that loads from the web. It caches content for offline use but takes up a fraction of the space a full native app would.
Do I need to update it?
No. Updates happen automatically in the background the next time you open the app while connected. You will always have the latest version without any manual updates.
Will my saved numbers carry over?
Yes. If you are signed in to your Outnumber account, your saved sets, streaks, and stats are stored in the cloud and will be available in the installed app.
Can I uninstall it?
Yes. On iPhone, press and hold the icon and delete it like any other app. On Android, long-press and drag to remove, or uninstall from your app drawer. On desktop, right-click the app window title bar and select Uninstall.
