Set for Life Results 1 October 2026: Winning Numbers and Analysis
Set for Life's draw on 1 October 2026 produced no Division 1 winner, meaning the $20,000 top prize went unclaimed. The draw was otherwise active across lower divisions, with prizes paid out from Division 2 through to Division 6. The top prize remains available for a future draw.
The winning main numbers drawn were 6, 7, 16, 22, 29, 33, and 38, drawn from a pool of 1 to 44. The supplementary numbers were 21 and 36. Five of the seven main numbers fell within the 1 to 31 range, while 33 and 38 sat above it.
Division 2, matching six main numbers plus a supplementary, paid $5,000 to one winner. Twelve players matched six main numbers in Division 3, each receiving $843. Division 4 (five plus supplementary) paid $124 across 74 winners, and Division 5 paid $37 to 569 players. Division 6 distributed $26 each to 1,911 winners.
With five of the seven winning main numbers sitting between 1 and 29, this draw leaned heavily into the birthday calendar range, where player selections tend to cluster. Only 33 and 38 fell into the under-picked zone above 31. That concentration in the lower range increases the likelihood of prize sharing in the divisions that matched those numbers, which the Division 3 and 5 field sizes reflect.
Outnumber generates Set for Life number combinations weighted towards the 32 to 44 range, where fewer players tend to pick, to reduce the chance of splitting a prize with multiple winners. This approach does not affect the probability of any number being drawn, and no selection method changes a player's odds of winning.
