Set for Life Results 6 October 2026: Winning Numbers and Analysis

Set for Life's draw on 6 October 2026 produced no Division 1 winner, meaning the $20,000 top prize went unclaimed. The draw is conducted from a main pool of numbers running from 1 to 44, and tickets must match all seven main numbers to take the top division. With no winner at the top, attention falls on the lower divisions where prizes were distributed across thousands of entries.

The seven winning main numbers drawn were 1, 2, 4, 12, 18, 24, and 38, with supplementary numbers 14 and 19. Six of the seven main numbers sat within the 1 to 31 range, with 38 the only number drawn from above that threshold. The two supplementaries, 14 and 19, also fell within the birthday calendar range.

Division 2, requiring a match of six main numbers plus a supplementary, returned no winners. Division 3 paid out to four winners at $2,537 each. Division 4 saw 86 winners collect $107 apiece, while Division 5 distributed $34 to each of 631 winners. The highest-volume division was Division 6, where 2,323 players matched four main numbers plus a supplementary and received $21 each.

Six of the seven main numbers falling in the 1 to 31 birthday range is a notably concentrated result, and the single above-31 number, 38, did little to shift the draw toward the under-picked zone. Players who selected numbers from the birthday range would have found their combinations aligned closely with this draw. Because popular numbers tend to be shared among more tickets, any winners in the lower divisions likely shared their prize pools with a higher number of other entries than a more spread draw might have produced.

Outnumber generates number combinations weighted toward the 32 to 44 range and other under-picked selections, with the aim of reducing the chance of sharing a prize with other winners. This approach does not alter the probability of any combination being drawn, but it does address the separate question of how many tickets a prize might need to be split across if a win does occur.
