Set for Life Results 7 October 2026: Winning Numbers and Analysis

Set for Life's draw on 7 October 2026 produced no Division 1 winner, meaning the top prize of $20,000 went unclaimed. Division 2, requiring a match of six numbers plus a supplementary, also went without a winner. The draw paid out across four lower divisions, with the bulk of prize money distributed from Division 3 downward.

The seven winning main numbers drawn were 3, 7, 10, 14, 19, 38, and 42. The supplementary numbers were 31 and 41. Set for Life draws from a pool of 1 to 44, and this draw returned a mix of low-range numbers clustered in the single digits and teens alongside two higher numbers in the 38 to 42 range.

Division 3, matching six main numbers, paid $928 each to 11 winners. Division 4, matching five numbers plus a supplementary, paid $124 each to 75 winners. Division 5 attracted the largest field, with 575 winners each receiving $37 for matching five main numbers. Division 6 rounded out the payouts, with 1,842 winners collecting $27 each for matching four numbers plus a supplementary.

Five of the seven winning main numbers fell within the 1 to 31 birthday calendar range, with only 38 and 42 sitting in the under-picked zone above 31. That tilt toward lower numbers likely means a higher proportion of tickets shared the winning combinations in the mid-range divisions, as birthday-influenced selections cluster heavily between 1 and 31. Players who leaned into numbers above 31 found limited company at the top but the draw did not strongly reward the under-picked zone overall.

Outnumber generates number combinations weighted toward the 32 to 44 range, where selections are statistically less common among players. The aim is to reduce the chance of sharing a prize if those numbers are drawn, not to increase the probability of winning. A draw like 7 October 2026, where five of seven numbers landed below 31, is a useful reminder that no weighting strategy can predict or influence which numbers come up.
