Weekday Windfall Results 9 October 2026: Winning Numbers and Analysis

Weekday Windfall draw 9 October 2026 produced no Division 1 winner, meaning the $1,000,000 jackpot went unclaimed. The draw is one of the mid-week lottery offerings available to Australian players, with a number pool running from 1 to 45. The rollover will carry forward to the next scheduled draw.

The six winning main numbers drawn were 15, 18, 28, 33, 36, and 40. The two supplementary numbers were 4 and 44. The main numbers spanned a range of 25, from the lowest at 15 to the highest at 40, with no number below 15 appearing in the main draw.

Division 2, matching five numbers plus a supplementary, was shared by seven winners at $5,313 each. A further 93 players matched five main numbers for $619 apiece. Division 4 saw 5,186 winners receive $32 each, while 13,398 players matched three numbers plus a supplementary for $17. The broadest payout tier covered 29,576 entries matching one or two numbers alongside both supplementaries, each returning $13.

Three of the six main numbers, specifically 33, 36, and 40, fell above 31, placing them in the under-picked zone beyond the birthday calendar range. The remaining three numbers, 15, 18, and 28, sat within the 1 to 31 range commonly associated with dates. A draw split evenly between both zones offers a partial advantage to contrarian pickers, though the majority of the main numbers still fell in birthday territory, which tends to attract heavier player concentration.

Outnumber generates number combinations weighted towards the 32 to 45 range, where player selections are statistically thinner, with the aim of reducing the likelihood of sharing a prize with other winners. Outnumber makes no claim that this approach improves a player's odds of winning a division. The weighting is a prize-sharing strategy, not a method for predicting outcomes.
